Skip to content- Coordination: The programme will be coordinated by the School’s Department of Clinical and Professional Practice
- Relationship: The nature of each relationship will vary in accordance with its goals. In some cases it may be one-on-one and in others group mentorship, or a combination of the two.
- Scope: This depends again on the mentee’s requirements and preferences and may be within the same the department or with someone from a different department.
- Timelines: May be time limited or indefinite. In most cases it is recommended that the relationship is revaluated and redefined at certain predetermined and agreed upon timeframes, typically 12-18 months
- Access: Mentees will apply for mentorship to the coordinators of the programme who will maintain a list of the available mentors in the school. The coordinators will also be responsible for the matching of the mentee with a suitable mentor.
- Marketing: A webpage will be established on the school’s website for this purpose.
- Limits: The coordinators of the programme may limit the number of mentees a mentor may have for the benefit of both the mentees and the mentor.
- Monitoring and evaluation: Will be handled by the coordinating team.
